Line Dancing?

We haven't cruised for 4 years, and I remember there was some line dancing offered on the pool deck. Can someone update me on what to expect on the Brilliance for line dancing?

There is usually line dancing on the pool deck during the sailaway party. Not sure if it is anywhere else on the ship during the cruise.

My wife is line dancing on the ship every day. Seems it is a big hit with cruisers.

Thanks, JKrise, I'm new to line dancing and can't get enough. Don't remember ever seeing it in the Compass? Anyone know?

It's nothing that's announced, as far as I can remember. Which line dances do you like?

Usually a couple of times on a 7 day cruise. It is on the pool deck. Times are listed on the compass. Dances such as Cha Cha slide, Electric Slide.

Just off Brilliance & yes...line dancing was offered several times during the cruise...at sail away by the pool deck & a couple times in the Centrum they had line dance classes...it will be listed in the compass...

Most of their line dance classes are silly. They are not real line dances you are going to see elsewhere. They do the electric slide, sometimes the Cha Cha slide and sometimes the wobble. Other then that most are not what I would call a line dance. It is more like a Zumba class then a line dance class. That being said, every ship and every sailing can be different.

 

Go to the classes and just have fun.

Haha! I learned how to "wobble" on my first cruise on the Allure! I plan to show off my skeeeeels! On the FOS next week!:p

I was at a Holiday Party last week and they played YMCA. I was leading everyone with the moves, and someone asked me how do I know all of this. I told them "I Cruise". :D

Thank you everyone who replied! I don't expect there will be any advanced line dancing (I am really a beginner), but to be able to dance is wonderful in itself. Looking forward to it. Thanks again!
