Yes, I've gone there from St. Thomas with a private tour company. It was a great day. We made a few other stops in the BVI. The company is St.Thomasboatrental dot com.

Yes as cookmg said there are outfits that will run you over, most out of the east end of STT and can be found under daysails or charters on the Vinow dot com site. There's also a Dolphin Shuttle if your hours in port work.

Have done it, but it is expensive....around $175 per person plus tip for the captain.

I loved White Bay at Jost before it became so popular. It was extremely crowded when we were there last :(. Only being in STT for the day, I am not sure that I would spend the majority of a day getting to and from Jost.

Yes it is more expensive and time consuming even with the ferry or Dolphin Shuttle. We go there while staying on Tortola. But I have to say for someone on STT, if one had enough time in port the Daydreamer out of Dreams Sugarbay looks wonderful.
