Chocolate Factory Tour

I've read there is a Chocolate Factory within walking distance of the pier. I read you can arrange a tour and sample chocolates. Anyone know the name? I had it once and lost it.

A co-worker just returned from a cruise that stopped in Barbados and she went to the factory but no tour was going on at that time. They were able to buy some chocolate there though and she said it was the best she's ever had. She thinks they have a store at the cruiseport so I will be picking some up for her and for us during our stop there. Yum!

You can find Agapey Chocolate at the Best Of Barbados store in the cruise terminal. We wipe out their stock every time we get to Barbados :eek:

I hadn't thought of the possibility of it being sold out. I was planning to buy on our return after spending the day at Lobster Alive. I better rethink and pick it up when we get off and just run it back to the room. I'm glad you posted! It helped me avoid possible disappointment!

We recently did the Agapey Chocolate tour in Bridgetown. Tours are limited to 10 people and can be arranged off their website. It was one of the best interactive tours we have done, with lots of interest, excellent chocolate to sample and purchase, and some great laughs.

Chocolate prices cheaper ( and all 8 or so possibilities of flavors) at end of tours. You can walk from the pier...carefully follow directions from website..or a short, cheap taxi ride.
