Barbie Experience discontinued

Very disappointed to find out Royal has discontinued the Barbie Experience. I was looking forward to surprising my Granddaughter with it. I asked why but the rep didn't know, he said it was a very popular activity.

It was a hit or miss event.

 

The room decorations were cute.

 

But at some socials the place was packed (Allure sailing 2013) maybe because it was new.

Then this summer (Allure) they only had 7 girls at the party.

 

I think the price had something to do with it as well as competition with other events.

 

I think if they brought the price down it would have a better turn out.

I really liked this package. Got it for my daughter on last cruise. She loved it although she didn't do the glamour show part.

Well, I just bought the wine tasting experience for my upcoming cruise, and it shows up on my docs as "BARBIE EXPR". :p I'll call and double check that they got that one right, but I do have another receipt showing the lafite wine tasting experience.

Wow. Bummer. I was going to get this for my daughter as a birthday present since our sail date is on her birthday :(
