Ocean Terrace on Royal or Regal

I've read about the Ocean Terrace and Bellinis on the Royal and Regal on the Princess site but have not seen much posted about them here on cruise critic.

I'm very excited to try these venues on our Royal cruise 1/18.

I wonder if the extra cost keeps people away?

When we were on the Royal last year we loved Bellinis for a pre-dinner drink. I intend to try the Ocean Terrace on our upcoming cruise on the Regal. There is some kind of crab margarita that someone posted a photo of that looks like I need to try it!

I wish I had tried more options at the Ocean Terrace like the margarita item. As it was, I only visited them once when I had a sushi craving. And the sushi was mediocre at best.

I had the crab cocktail on the Regal & it was loaded with crab & really good. I don't think the $6.00 charge is too much because we felt we got more then our money's worth. Also ordered the Endename (sp??) but it was luke warm at best, so a little disappointing.

I was so excited to try the crab margarita when we were on the Royal in July. Unfortunately they did not start serving at the Ocean Terrace until 4 PM and we never wanted to have anything to eat that close to dinner time. Would have liked to have had that as my lunch if they served earlier, but didn't get a chance to try it.

Last winter on the Royal, we had the crab margarita at Ocean Terrace for lunch one day. Have they stopped opening Ocean Terrace on sea days for Lunch?
