This is pretty good..follow the instructions:

Now this is an incredible use of technology---like traveling back in time!

Left click and hold on each photo, and then drag your mouse gently from

left to right on the original photograph and will be become a photo of the

exact same location and view today - drag it back to the left and you are back in 1944!

That is amazing! Thought I recognised the first picture - chilling to see it (and appreciate the relevance) from 1944. There is a deserted village near here which was used for training purposes prior to the D-Day landings. The residents gave up their homes (had no choice really) to aid the war effort - but were never allowed to return. It's eerie visiting there - and very moving. We have a lot to be grateful for.
