Epic time change in Cozumel

Do you all remember how long you were in Central (Cozumel) time? Was it only for a night or 2? Or for most of the cruise? (We will have a 16 month old with us, and she has an early bed time - just wondering what we should plan for!)

If I recall correctly (and I just checked with DH who remembers the same), when we sailed a few weeks ago, we changed time zones for just one day - changing the night before we docked in Cozumel and changing back the night we left. Hope that helps!

We were only in central time on the Cozumel port day. We changed our clocks when we went to bed, then spent the day at Cozumel, then changed them back when we went to bed that night.

EDIT: I was typing this, then left my computer to do other things, then came back and posted it. Now I see others replied first. Sorry for the duplicate answer!

Thanks all.

It makes sense that they change the ship time only for the day in Cozumel since they are on Central time and all other ports are on Eastern.

It's better they do it that way so people aren't confused in port.

This helps with planning a third-party shore excursion.
