Cadiz/Seviile on Sunday

We are trying to make choice between staying in Cadiz or venturing to Seville. On another day of the week we would most likely choose Seville. Since it will be a Sunday, I am curious as to whether we will travel to Seville only to find many things closed.

Any information or experience is truly appreciated.

Thank you

The majority of shops will be closed in both Cadiz and Seville on a Sunday, but museums etc will be open. However, one day in Seville will not do it justice and the journey time is an hour and a half each way.

I would be inclined to either stay in Cadiz or visit Jerez de la Frontera.

Seville is amazing. Don't miss your chance to go there, unless you plan to go back.

I spend three days there in the 80s.

The cathedral is amazing, it has the tomb of Christopher Columbus.

There is more to see as well.
