Shanghai Pre Cruise Hotel

Sailing from Shanghai later this year and am looking for a hotel for two nights. First time in Shanghai and would appreciate hotel advice.

One of the best and most interesting hotel would certainly be the Fairmont Peace hotel.

We have stayed at the Grand Central Hotel and will be again post-cruise in March...love this hotel and location just steps from Nanjing Road and a quick easy (under 5 min) walk up Nanjing to the Bund.

Will be staying in Shanghai pre-cruise March, 2017. I am looking at the Marriott River Hotel vs the Marriott Park (?) across from the park and Marriott downtown. I love river views, but I want to be in a good location for sightseeing. We may use the HOHO and, of course, look into private tours.

I have stayed at the Hyatt on the Bund and loved it. AMAZING views of the Bund from the rooftop bar. The HOHO buses were an easy walk to get to.

 

On my last visit, I stayed at the Hongta Hotel in the Pudong district, only because it was near the trade show exposition center.
