Just booked this room for a cruise. Anyone stayed in here before?

How large is the balcony.

Thanks,Suds70

After 40+ cruises! this was our favorite cabin! The balcony is huge with two loungers, a large table, and three chairs. The overhang is perfect - it only goes halfway out so you can enjoy sun or shade. It also allows you to sit outside in light rain and stay dry if you wanted to. There is also total privacy as there is not a balcony above. We sailed in this cabin from Hawaii to Vancouver in May and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony many mornings. The food was piping hot every time! I think this was due to the close proximity to the rear crew stairs. We REALLY enjoyed our two week stay in 8098. We also loved the Rhapsody! Captain Rob is great and he has a wonderful crew! I hope you have a great cruise and enjoy the cabin and balcony!

We sailed in this room on board Splendour in June '14 and loved it, and have the same on Rhapsody in Sept '15.

very excited, can't wait!

the only down side we found was that it was a bit noisy(engine noise) late at night. but mostly it was incredible!!

hot tip: there is a set of stairs just up the hallway that lead to the the spa. quick way to get to the cafe in the sollarium without going all teh way mid-ship to the stairs to go up.

We are just back from having this cabin and it was wonderful especially handy to get to the Park Cafe if you head round the corner and take stairs to the spa. It's not that far a walk to the centre stairs either or elevators. It was a lovely view to Mykonos town but we were docked the ship takes it in turn with another to tender. Enjoy your cruise :)
