Priya2 Posted April 18, 2015 #26 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Oops! Just noticed that you have decided to go with your bank Babs. I'll leave-up my reply though, just in case it helps someone else :)
Rare babs135 Posted April 19, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted April 19, 2015 Oops! Just noticed that you have decided to go with your bank Babs. I'll leave-up my reply though, just in case it helps someone else :) Thanks anyway. I think we did try your insurance co (tried quite a few so it gets difficult to remember!!) but as I'd said quotes were stupidly expensive. We have now booked a stay and cruise home from New York and rang the bank and for the huge amount of a further £40 pp we are now covered for the States. :)
Priya2 Posted April 19, 2015 #28 Share Posted April 19, 2015 Out of interest, if you don't mind saying, how much do they charge you altogether?

Basic policy is free but they charged us for European cover in the region of £100 (for the 2 of us) for pre-existing medical conditions and then a little extra to add on America. That's very good isn't it? 👍
