Changing passenger possible for aug 2015 booking

Recommended Posts

Hi,

8 months until sail date, however my wife will not be travelling!

I see from RCI website i can change a name on a booking, just need to know if there is a charge?

Also could i just take a friend, male or female to share the cabin?

I ask as I will still be travelling, taking my 2 teenage children (17 & 16), 2 cabins booked.

Price for a triple is more expensive than the price we've paid for 2 cabins with 4 occupants, so no point in amending the booking that way.

Thanks

Rob.

You can change names on a reservation, as long as one of the original names remains. However, they may charge the prevailing rate....they used to just substitute the names, but the way things are changing, I am not sure of the pricing rules these days.

All rules seem to be different for a non USA booking. You'll need to call your agent

So far name changes alone have not triggered repricing. Who knows what the future may hold.

I had a name change a few months ago. My issue was my DH was the reason for an accessible room. I changed his name to DS's & also requested a regular cabin (OV). There was no charge for these changes.

The only increased charge happened when I requested a re-price because of the BOGOHO sale & that was only because the price had gone up on that category. In other words, instead of actually paying $600 less, I paid $450 less.
