OlsSalt Posted September 11, 2015 #27 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Do they offer movies on the pool deck? Some of the ships added this outdoor theater - never saw it well attended on the Rotterdam but it was not our thing. Seemed artificial and intrusive to us when it was turned on for visual effects. We like natural sunsets and open water ourselves.
OlsSalt Posted September 11, 2015 #28 Share Posted September 11, 2015 How does HAL compare to X or Princess? Overall, they seem to rank fairly similar in what they offer and who they attract with differences only in the details of layout and some activities. You will get lots of varied response which can help you decide what features matter the most for your cruise experience. Loyalists abound one way or the other, but most who have experienced all or several of these lines tend to say 50-50. You get this but you give up that. Rare kazu Posted September 11, 2015 #29 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Do they offer movies on the pool deck? No, thankfully. There is a theatre to see movies in if you are so inclined.
