Taxi to Mountain Top

Wondering if someone can help me with some info. Looking to take a taxi to Mountain Top. Anyone ever done this? How much would it cost and is it safe? I am not talking about Paradise Point which is right in port. Mountain top is about 15 mins away.

DH and I did a ship excursion which took us up to Mountain Top. Mountain Top is jot what it sounds like. It's just a large souvenir shop...a real tourist trap. That was our first trip to St. Thomas, and I wish we had gone to a beach instead.

Glad I just read this. We were thinking of just going to Mountain Top. But, we may better off going to Magens Bay.

People go to Mountain Top for the view. Check photos online.

 

There are other things you can do if you don't want to beach.
