Room Service

Just off the Getaway and had room service every morning for breakfast.

No phone call any morning, just a knock at the door.

They bring they tray inside when we answered the door.

You choose a time frame, ex: 7:00 - 7:30 am

It would always arrive at the beginning of the time frame chosen ex 7:00am

except

Debarkation day which was about 40 mins later than we anticipated

Love love love room service for breakfast!

On NCL we have ALWAYS been phoned that breakfast is on its way. Gives me a chance to put robe on and grab the tip I put nearby the night before.

For lunch or snack, usually just a knock on the door.

We had breakfast room service three times on our last cruise on the Star.

No one called ahead.

I wonder if it has anything to do with "Do Not Disturb" vs. "Welcome" on the little spinning wheel outside your door. I always turn ours to Welcome on Room Service days, so they don't wander away if they encounter a "Do Not Disturb".
