Underwatr Posted January 28, 2015 #51 Share Posted January 28, 2015 (YouTube link) More of a PR exercise for Cunard but there are a few pictures of the work done on board. That didn't work for me but the video is at this YouTube page:

RicherthruTravel Posted January 29, 2015 #53 Share Posted January 29, 2015 Poole Boy, thanks for the update on QV. I had also read from a blogger that there was a terrible odor on deck 2 the day QV departed. I sincerely hope this issue has been corrected - do not need any unpleasant experiences. Will be doing the LA to LA trip on 2/17/15! So looking forward to it! Happy Cruising!
fluked Posted May 2, 2015 #54 Share Posted May 2, 2015 But seriously, that video seemed to focus on the contractors and the excellent level of service they received during the re-fit, which is nice to see. Let's hope they tipped the staff that took care of them :) I think the contractors had an auto gratuity attached to their wages at $11.50 per day (unless they were fitting carpets in the Grills in which case they had to pay more!):)
