Cruisin4US Posted January 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2015 We are on the Carnival Legend this July, and were wondering if there are any restrooms on board the small excursion boat (Tracy Arm Fjord and Glacier Explorer) that an 80+ year old could handle okay. Also, after reading that it can get quite cold on this excursion, is the inside of this boat heated at all? Thanks for any info!
5waldos Posted January 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Pretty certain there are restrooms- the boat isn't that small. And yes inside was heated. Don't imagine that an 80 year old would have problems with it. It was a great excursion even though we went quite early in the season and couldn't get in very far because of the number of icebergs. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Budget Queen Posted January 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Yes there are bathrooms and the inside is protected with good viewing, but with doors opening and closing, don't expect it to be hot. :) Another issue is this tour requires going up and down a flight of stairs and on to the boat up stairs without any rails. Staff is available to assist you with a hand. With Carnival you will have to do this twice.
