ccruisequeen Posted January 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Either FRI or Sat, depending on the schedule I still cruise for warm chocolate melting cake (with two sugar free vanilla ice creams)

SadieN Posted January 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2015 The general rule for formal night is never the first or last night, nor consecutive nights.

Can'tWait2SetSail Posted January 24, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2015 All the short cruises I have been on, the formal night was the first day at sea. Enjoy your cruise!
GrummanTiger Posted January 24, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 24, 2015 I checked this thread because I also have a four day cruise. We leave in 5 days. Our first sea day will be the day of the Super Bowl game. I don't imagine they'll have formal night then... Would they? Would be nice to know, because DH will NOT miss the game on the Big Screen. :(

ccruisequeen Posted January 25, 2015 #14 Share Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) They had a formal night during World Series. Everyone gathered in the sports lounge in their formals and suits. Very elegant! I still cruise for warm chocolate melting cake (with two sugar free vanilla ice creams) Edited January 25, 2015 by ccruisequeen
