how early off on Freedom

I know some people carry their own luggage off. How early do you remember that they started to get off. 7,8, ???

We were able to walk off between 7 and 730 last Spring Break. But I've heard not to count on that time as anything can happen at the port.

Look at the arrival time on your itinerary and figure about 45 minutes after that.

We were on the Freedom in December and carried our luggage off. We were in the car and pulling out of the parking lot at 7:15 a.m. We did wait in a line that was probably 50 people in front of us while the gangways were being readied and the line grew continuously longer after we were in line. But once it started moving we were off the ship and through customs quickly. I am sure that each debarkation is different though, and you should always plan for the worse and hope for the best.

We got off this past January 5 - it took 2 hours. We stood in line on the ship forever. Then got off, and stood in line to get into an elevator because we were told we had to gown a certain hallway - the escalator was broken, so everyone in our line had to take the elevator - we even tried to turn around and go back to the other escalators but were yelled at. It was chaos! The line to get off the ship snaked down 4 flights of stairs, then down into the casino and back again to the exits. We got off the elevators, took a right and just went for it.. out the door! No one was directing traffic. No friendly thank you. I highly recommend taking your own bags off - and getting in line as early as possible!
