Vista IMAX - cost and cost/benefit

I love movies while the wife loves the pool and the sun. I can't wait to go to the movies instead of getting a sunburn and being bored out on the lido. Hope they have a good selection. Are they are posted anywhere?

We love movies, and one of our favorite things about Carnival is the seaside theater. I work too many hours to go to many movies on land. We would happily try the IMAX on a rainy night or if there is something we don’t like on deck. I do not understand why people are unhappy. It isn’t like anyone is required to pay for and attend the movie against their will. I would not want a cabin where I would hear the movie in my room, any more than I want to hear the disco or karaoke in my room.

I think what bothers people is the addition of yet another for fee venue on the ship. Many of us remember the days when everything to do on the ship was free and that no longer being so really changes the atmosphere of the cruise.

Cruising is evolving, it is a fact. New Ships that used to cost 650 million now cost over a billion....bigger,bigger, bigger. One up man ship all over the place. If a cruise line does not play yeh game, they lose. Saturated markets, especially in the Caribbean and these companies, have to provide a profit for their stockholders.

 

Whether you like it or not, we helped create this beast. They look for the niches that they hope will make you choose them.
