Shark and Ray alley vs stingray city grand cayman

I also have done both. Shark Ray alley is a snorkeling tour with no guarantee that you will see a shark or ray. We didn't see any sharks but did see lots of fish including a barracuda and a few rays. Stingrays in Grand Cayman is completely different. I've done that tour 4x. You swim/wade with a bunch of stingrays and wil have the opportunity to hold and feed them too. Then on most of the tours you will have a snorkeling stop. I enjoyed the stingrays in GC much more than Shark ray alley in Belize. Also keep in mind that the trip out to Shark ray alley near Caye Caulker is very long. If you are prone to motion sickness this could be an issue. On our trip it was cool and began to rain on way back and we froze! Caye Caulker was beautiful though!
