Buses and ferries suspended today

All Government workers are out this morning due to labour strife over furlough days. The buses and ferries were suspended yesterday morning and resumed later in the afternoon.

All Government workers are off. There are protests in front of the Cabinet building.

Government says it isn't giving in on the furlough days so their is an impasse.

 

Ferries and buses are not expected to run tomorrow either.

Yes, we as residents know about this, but since this is not cruise ship season, why on earth are you spreading this bad publicity any further than it needs to go? Posting three times in one day?!

Sorry to hear about the political/labor unrest in Bermuda. :(

I do hope that the transportation issue is worked out before cruise season. One of the great attractions of a Bermuda cruise is the wonderful (and affordable) bus/ferry system. Looking forward to our return on Summit, this May! :cool:
