Folks,

Rumor has it you can rent Jet Skis in Aruba, I believe on Eagle Beach.

1. Is this true?

2. Is it actually Eagle Beach?

3. How much, any idea?

4. Book in advance, on the ship or on arrival at the location?

We are planning on spending an hour on jet skis, then some beach relaxation followed by a bit of lunch and shopping while in Aruba.

Any feedback is very welcome!!!

Thanks In Advance!!!

Another question and I hope ArubaLisa might see this or someone else who is in the know.

If we do the jet skis on Eagle Beach which we plan to, we want to spend some time resting at the beach afterwards.

I hear Palm Beach is nicer. How far from Eagle to Palm, and are taxis readily available? Is there someplace to eat at Palm?

Bear in mind we are travelling with kids....

Thanks!!!

Palm Beach is nicer and there are plenty of places to eat at the various hotels that line the beach and the restaurants (and fast food places) on the other side of the street from the hotels. Food is less available on Eagle Beach, particularly in the area of the jet skis. You can rent a chair and umbrella from many of the concessions on Palm Beach. Almost all of those concessions also offer water sports, including snorkel catamaran tours, parasailing, and jet skis. If you decide on jet skis, they will transport you via boat to and from Eagle Beach. There is no need to commit to Eagle Beach if you want to jet ski. You can take a bus or a taxi to either beach. The bus goes right by Eagle Beach (Low Rise area) on the way to Palm Beach (High Rise area).
