Rare MicCanberra Posted January 31, 2015 #26 Share Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Are you sure of this?!! ;) :DSolstice is actually a bit longer than Voyager!!! 1,033 ft (314.86 m) - Solstice 1,020 ft (311 m) - Voyager of the Seas Why would they think Solstice is bigger? It's pretty evident that Voyager is. Solstice has the standard twin corridors. Voyager has triple primary ones! For the same reason Tillydog did, being longer and taller. Which is why I put up the details Solstice-class cruise ship Tonnage: 121,878 GT[1] Length: 1,033 ft (314.86 m) Beam: 121 ft (36.88 m) Draft: 27 ft (8.23 m) Capacity: 2,850 passengers Crew: 1,500 Voyager-class cruise ship Tonnage: 137,276 GT Length: 311 m (1,020 ft) Beam: 38.6 m (127 ft) Height: 63 m (206.69 ft) Draught: 8.8 m (29 ft) Capacity: 3,138 passengers Crew: 1,181 crew Edited January 31, 2015 by MicCanberra
The_Big_M Posted January 31, 2015 #27 Share Posted January 31, 2015 For the same reason Tillydog did, being longer and taller. Height is pretty much the same. And it's just a fraction longer, but that nowhere makes up for its extra bulk all along the length.

I don't know everything, and there is always more to learn. I prefer to keep my ears open. I call that extra lot the inside inside cabins :) Edited January 31, 2015 by goodycruising
