GingerCandy Posted January 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2015 Thank you all for your helpful info on Ft. Lauderdale excursions. I should have mentioned that we are full time residents of Florida, so that makes it harder to find an excursion that would be new to us. The boat tour seems to be our best option to give us a few hours off the ship while waiting for the turnaround. Back to back cruises waste at least a day of sitting and waiting in the same port time after time. We prefer longer cruises 10-14 days that are not back to back; but they are almost impossible to find anymore. So thank you for your suggestions. Much appreciated. We're open to more, if you have them.

xyankee Posted January 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2015 GingerCandy, we are doing a B2B on Feb. 21 sailing out of FFL. The excursions on the turn around day didn't excite me so we were planning on staying on the ship and handling the day as a "sea day". I know we have to get off to go through immigrations but other than that, we planned a relaxing day on board. Anything wrong with this plan? Pam in CA Posted January 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2015 I know we have to get off to go through immigrations but other than that, we planned a relaxing day on board. Anything wrong with this plan?IMHO, this is a good plan. You get to experience the ship with few passengers onboard, get first choice for specialty dining reservations, get a jump on boarding passengers if you want to book the Sanctuary, etc.
