SFO princess transfer to airport

We will be arriving a day early before our Alaska cruise out of San Francisco. We have decided to stay near the airport ( lived in the Bay Area as a kid and multiple trips to the city since then). I have read on several posts that if you take your hotel shuttle back to the airport you can pick up the Princess shuttle. Where exactly would we find the shuttle if we decided to do that? Has anyone else tried that. We will be staying at the Embassy Suites near the airport ( South San Francisco)

Thank you

Jan

As this is a Princess policy and procedure issue, I would be asking on the Princess board.

Most cruise lines meet you right outside of baggage claim. As SFO has 4 terminals, and Princess will only be outside baggage claim where they know they have pax arriving, this adds some challenge. If you book the transfer, they will tell you where to meet them.

We recently did what you are suggesting. Our instructions were to go to terminal 1 baggage carousel 1 and look for the Princess rep. There were over 50 people there doing the same thing. Enjoy your cruise!

The information was on the itinerary tab when we opened up the SFO departure day section for our cruise. We stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Millbrae and dropped off our rental car at the airport then went to terminal 1 baggage claim. It all worked very well for us. Good luck to you and enjoy your cruise!
