First Cruise Ever!

We've put a hold on a cruise from Auckland to South Pacific on Pacific Pearl and hope we're doing the right thing! We're having trouble trying to find somewhere to park the car for 9 days. We're not familiar with the Port area at all, so your advice would be very welcome. Also, what is the weather like in April to this destination? What clothing should we be packing? Thank you!

So sorry, as I am of no help to you here, but wanted to say that I would LOVE to visit NZ and AU. Maybe sometime in my life, but have seen gorgeous pictures and heard great things. Definitely on my bucket list!
