When do they assing dining tables

We have two booking numbers (two rooms, kids in other room) for our cruise in April. At what point do I need to do something to make sure we are assigned to the same table at dinner? Is it something I do ahead of time or when I get to the port?

After I made my reservation a representative from Carnival called and introduced himself. We have three cabins in our party and I gave him all three booking numbers and asked him to have us all at the same table.

I made mine with a rep so maybe its already done but maybe I should call him and make sure.

Call Carnival and tell them you want the bookings "linked" This way you will be at the same table AND the same muster station. Thats it.

Is there a way to tell on my booking if they are linked already? The guy I booked with knew the situation when I did it so wondering if he just linked them automatically.

It should be on the bottom of your confirmation email...

If your booking's are linked, there shouldn't be a problem. I think they assign the tables a week before. We also had the kids in their own cabin on the Liberty last year and although they were linked, only the kids dinner reservations were confirmed for months. My husband & I were "waitlisted" until days before we left. Carnival assured us we would be together, and we were.

You can link them yourself if they are not already by going under your cruise provide under the "Manage" icon. I liked our friend to ours myself. So if you can see the reservation under your Carnival Login profile then you are linked.

The table assignment will also be on your S&S card. If they are not the same table go visit the Maître'd and they will fix it. Especially since it's your kids. Don't stress too much over it, it will all work out fine.

Just looked at the confirmation and in the fine print the bookings ARE linked so I guess we should be ok then. Thanks all for the responses!
