Regal & Royal both in St Thomas today!

I think it's a personal preference - some like Crown Bay and others Havensight

 

Really? Why would one prefer crown bay over havensight?

 

To me -- plenty of shopping right in havensight, including

a grocery store. Close to Pueblo supermarket, and KMart.

Much nicer walk into town. Close to sky-ride.

 

Much, much closer to red hook for folks who want to go to

St. John.

 

The only thing that is close to Crown Bay is Emerald Beach.

 

Carnival Corp got a 10 year break on port charges to use

Crown Bay. I believe this is about to end. Hopefully,

they will stop screwing their customers now.

we are on Royal end of March and are stopping in St. Thomas. Hoping for Cruz Bay as we want to take ferry to Water Island. Anyone know of reliable source for determining which port?

I use goggle for "st Thomas cruise ship schedule"...and find the vinow website. It usually is pretty accurate.

 

...and assume you mean Crown Bay, not Crus Bay

OK....water taxi to Water Island is from Crown Bay, right beside the cruise ship pier. It is Easter Sunday, as you probably know.
