In2why Posted February 7, 2015 #76 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Stupid question but if you cruise and gamble in the casino are you automatically part of the deals when you sign up to gamble, or do you have to do something special to be part of the Ocean Players Club? MCEaton Posted February 7, 2015 #78 Share Posted February 7, 2015 SWEET! I wanted to do this also. I am ITCHING to book this B2B but we just did a B2B on the Liberty and our piggy bank is almost empty. :(:( This is SUCH a great itinerary. ENJOY! How did you find these deals, we checked and it is over 800 $ just for a Balcony? 489$ for an inside without port fees
In2why Posted February 7, 2015 #79 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Put your sail and sign card in a machine or hand it to the dealer when you play table games. Thanks for the info. I don't gamble much but my Step dad on the other hand went what I consider crazy on our last cruise so I will have my Mom check his account. But I didn't think he did anything special other than use his sign and sail card
caribnsnrklr Posted February 7, 2015 #80 Share Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) Do these include your port fees and taxes? Yes thats total price for two ppl in balcony with port fees and taxes. Also there is a 100 OBC. The offer is 50pp for inside with the 100 obc or balcony for 130pp. Mine for the 7 day Sunshine balcony was $474.86 total and the Breeze 6 day was $459.90 and both get the 100 OBC. The offer is only for 2 ppl in the room. Edited February 7, 2015 by caribnsnrklr

But I didn't think he did anything special other than use his sign and sail card All you have to do is use your S&S card. Have your step dad check his offers at carnival.com under the VIFP section. He will need to input his VIFP number to see his offers. Also if he doesn't have any offers after he books another cruise have him Email casino@carnival.com and include his VIFP number to see if they can give him any type of comp. All they can say is yes or know. No harm in trying.
texast518 Posted February 7, 2015 #82 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Got these deals too!! Booked the Sunshine April and Breeze June. Cant beat those balcony prices and OBC. Just wish it was for more than two ppl in room but I will take what I can get. My wife got the offer also, just booked another $414{total for 2 no trip ins) balcony for friends, one rm in her name, one in mine.

Is there a way to compare those when looking? Looking at the cruises I don't see that listed

Yep, both my Mom and Step Dad got the offers so now we will do the same thing, since DH and I got nada. Looks like the cruises out of NY are the best deals and that b2b from Ny to San Juan is really attractive. But there are a couple others as well. tcowgs2 Posted February 7, 2015 #85 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Just booked mine, couldn't beat the deal. 485 total for two on pride in June. Ours was a pack and play deal. Included 100 OBC.

BigB0882 Posted February 7, 2015 #87 Share Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) Can you book multiple cruises with this deal or does it disappear once you book? Have you booked one? If so, do a mock booking for another and see. I can try as well since we booked one. I will report back in a bit. It is still showing me all the offers on multiple other cruises. I am assuming you can book as many as you can fit into your schedule. If I was retired, I would be doing a LOT of cruising this year. lol Edited February 7, 2015 by BigB0882
chip2552 Posted February 8, 2015 #88 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I have not booked yet. Can you check and see if it will let you book a second time for the same cruise? I'm going to take my son this trip and Dont know if I can book two cruises or if I just have to add a third and pay the higher price for the third person. Thanks if you can help. imaboo Posted February 8, 2015 #91 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I'm not a high roller by any means, but I just received a Casino Pack and Go offer that covers a multitude of sailings between now and the end of June. $25. inside cabins on short cruises, $50 inside cabins on longer cruises, plus up to a $100 OBC per cabin. Of course you can upgrade to an OV or balcony for a little bit more. Patti & I will be back on the Splendor from NYC 6/29 in a balcony for $130pp plus taxes & port fees. Fingers crossed that many of you get the same offer!!! Thanks for the heads-up! :D

jeffinhouston Posted February 8, 2015 #94 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Do you know if you can book multiple on the same cruise? No, the person who the offer is for must be in the room booked. So no way for the same person to book more than one room on a single cruise.

Frank12 Posted February 8, 2015 #96 Share Posted February 8, 2015 This is one of the best offers I've seen as far as choices. Too bad I have a job. If you are retired and live in Florida you could literally book a free cruise every week from now until the end of June, paying only port fees and taxes. I could only swing 2 because of work! :(
dewke Posted February 8, 2015 #97 Share Posted February 8, 2015 We spend a lot of money in the Casino but never received any offer, do we have to do something special? I've been wondering the same thing. My wife is platinum and I gamble on the boat yet I never get the drinks on us card and the only offer we get is the lousy past guest offer that everyone gets. kendracruises Posted February 8, 2015 #100 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Get both of you signed up on Carnival to increase your chances. We don't spend much in the casino, less than $1000 for a 8 day cruise and hubby got the offer on his account but I did not.
