Former Westin Diplomat in Hollywood

I've just discovered that the former Westin Diplomat hotel in Hollywood has changed hands and it is now part of the Marriott chain of hotels. Has anyone stayed here lately? Also, has anyone had success in getting this hotel on either Hotwire or Priceline? Stayed here previously and would like to go back again (if the price is right!) Thanks.;)

Looks like it's been taken over by Hilton and is now part of the "Curio Collection". Recent reviews look good.

All that has happened is that the Diplomat has changed its flag.

 

Instead of flying the Westin flag, it now flies the Hilton flag.

 

Same management, same staff, same everything.

 

It hasn't changed hands.
