Changing from OBC to UBP after final payment

Just wondering if it is possible to change promotions after final payment. Can the OBC promotion be changed to UBP? If not, would cancelling and rebooking with the changes in promotion be allowed? We sail in 55 days. Thanks for any help.

Don't know for sure, but since u can change entertainment and dining reservations, I'm guessing you can change promotion, too.

I managed to do this for our trip on the Getaway in May. I was charged an admin fee and we had booked through a TA. :)

Doubtful as it would involve cancelling and rebooking and you will lose the original deposit or the percentage as underlined on the cancellation schedule, AND the OBC.

I was able to make a promo change after making our final payment. Originally I had selected OBC, but then my spouse pointed out that the UBP would be a far better deal. Sent an e-mail to our personal cruise consultant, and she made the change. Even though we were 59 days from sailing, it was no problem at all. I did request an amenity confirmation/receipt just in case. Oh, and I did not have to cancel and rebook. Good luck.

Look up your cancellation policy. They are steep.

 

Once you hit final payment date, all bets are off. At that point they do sales, promotions, etc to fill the ship with last minute bookings. They do not do that to offer better prices to others.
