astrofreak Posted January 24, 2016 #201 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I'm trying to lose 40 lb. I won't lose it all before my cruise (it's too short a time) but I've found a combination of a fitness tracker with a calorie counting app is working well. MOcruiserman Posted February 23, 2016 #202 Share Posted February 23, 2016 I started the Nutrisystem program on Feb. 9 with the goal of losing between 36 and 46 pounds (I was at 226). This morning I was 218. I'd like to be 200 by the time of my May 1 cruise, though that may be an unrealistic goal. It's tough to get used to eating such tiny portions. I don't intend to deprive myself on my cruise so, until then, I'll just have to suck it up.
Virtopia Posted March 7, 2016 #203 Share Posted March 7, 2016 I've lost 9lbs since the year started which is great but I feel like I could be doing better so I'm determined to workout 20 times this month. I've already worked out 4 times and like the improvements I'm seeing. I have a target dress for my cruise and I tried it on today. When I lose 25 lbs,it will be a great fit. tcwoah Posted March 14, 2016 #207 Share Posted March 14, 2016 Booked a cruise on the Breeze for September of this year. Would love to lose 45-50 lbs by then. I have 180 days. This is totally possible.
MOcruiserman Posted March 14, 2016 #208 Share Posted March 14, 2016 I'm also doing nutrisystem need to lose 60 lbs You can do it! What I like about Nutrisystem is that it makes sure you eat only small portions. Portion control is the main problem I have and I suspect most overweight people have as well. I first used Nutrisystem in 2008 and the food was not very tasty. It's much better now.
