Save in Australia

Recommended Posts

Come on down to Australia for your next holiday. Our dollar has lost 30% of its value against the USD in the last 18 months and appears destined to drop even further.

We were in the USA 18 months ago when the rate was 100 AUD to 110 USD.

Other currencies are probably similar eg we got 66 pence for our dollar in the UK. Now it's down to 50 pence. Overseas holidays are so expensive for Australians now so many have made the decision to holiday at home.

There is so much to see in this country so come on down and save. :)

Mildew sounds good but after 25 years of traveling Australia we have seen the best so we are now doing our overseas bucket list - at least we got some in before the $ started to go down.

We've been lucky and did our big overseas trips before the dollar dropped. Aside from these relatively close to home cruises coming up it's the caravan for us from now on.:D
