bookbabe Posted February 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Where in Cayman are you looking to eat? Near the port, Seven Mile Beach or further afield? Will you have a car or be relying on buses/taxis? Are you wanting five-star or more casual? Cayman is well-known for its excellent restaurants, so knowing what area you'll be in and some more details of what you're hoping to find will help narrow down recommendations. A good website for researching this is http://caymangoodtaste.com
panoramaofthepast Posted February 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Where are your favorite places to eat in Grand Cayman? Do you have a favorite local specialty or roadside stand? The Lighthouse out at East End. You'll need a car, but you can eat on the pier; great food; wonderful ambiance
drew sailbum Posted February 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Lighthouse Restaurant is in the Breakers community in the district of Bodden Town, only a little more than half way to the east tip of the island. Rental car is still suggested though the East End buses do pass. In town I like Guy Harvey's Grill for a nice view of the harbour and great seafood.
