coscab Posted February 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2015 There is a weather alert on ncl.com that the Dawns arrival to Port of Tampa will be delayed today so not to arrive until 2PM, does the Dawn pick up passengers in Tampa on Sunday? We are sailing on the Sun out of Tampa on a Sunday, didn't know the Dawn would be in port also.

ColinIllinois Posted February 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Something really odd sticks out right away on the weather advisory....:D Norwegian Dawn Feb 23 Sailing – Advisory Updated 9:45 am 2/23/2013 Due to dense fog in the Tampa Bay area, Norwegian Dawn's arrival into port will be delayed. For your comfort, please delay your arrival to the Port of Tampa until after 2pm as the facilities at the pier are limited. The ship's departure is now scheduled for 5pm. We look forward to welcoming you aboard the beautiful Norwegian Dawn
zqvol Posted February 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Interesting since the Dawn is in New Orleans but since the alert is two years old it probably doesn't matter.
janymac Posted February 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2015 I live in Tampa, if you get a weather alert, it is usually that fog has delayed the ship coming in but we went to the port at the same time we always go and were onboard at 1130... Have a great cruise! janymac:p There is a weather alert on ncl.com that the Dawns arrival to Port of Tampa will be delayed today so not to arrive until 2PM, does the Dawn pick up passengers in Tampa on Sunday? coscab Posted February 15, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Duh, thanks everyone for clearing that up for me, guess I wasn't paying close attention, it just startled me so because I am looking forward to being on the Sun one last time, thought maybe something had changed. Carry on:)

Thanks, I guess it was posted inadvertently on ncl.com today that the Dawn would be coming in late to Tampa, turns out it was a 2 year old alert, don't know why it popped up as soon as I logged onto ncl, I was gripping because we have been on the Sun quite a few times and it is our favorite, March will probably be our last time on her as she is going to South America and I thought maybe they were changing back to the Dawn so I freaked and started this thread, I didn't notice the date was 2 years ago:eek: Were the new menus on the Sun?? Seems someone in the IT department was thinking, "Hey, I wonder what this button does?" :p .
