If I want the ability to text throughout the cruise ( Verizon customer) what do I need to purchase and what is the cost? I am only interested in texting on 1 phone. Thank you in advance for your response.

Verizon charges $0.50 per text sent and $0.05 per text received. No plans to purchase or ship costs.

 

If you are going to send hundreds of texts, then you should check with Verizon to see if they have a cruise ship package.

 

Note that these texts would be SMS texts, which means no photos, no videos, no group texts.
