Can I use "Non-refundable" OBC to purchase Future Cruise Reward?

We have over $200 OBC that I believe will be considered non-refundable as we are receiving it from our travel agent. Can I use this OBC to purchase a future cruise reward? Has anyone successfully done this lately?

Yes, you can use nonrefundable (as well as refundable) OBC for purchase of a Freestyle Cruise Reward.

 

However, OBC from travel agents is usually refundable, although I have also gotten both refundable and nonrefundable TA OBC at times. OBC from NCL is virtually always nonrefundable.
