Anyone in Cairns?

Is anyone heading down to Cairns port today? Would love to see a photo of Rhapsody safe and sound.

 

 

Message from RC: Thanks everyone for your concern, Rhapsody of the Seas altered its course today to travel east of the storm and we can confirm the ship is now well clear of Cyclone Marcia, travelling north to Cairns. The weather is clear and the ship is expected to arrive in Cairns between 9 and 10am Saturday 21 February, one to two hours behind her original schedule.

I'm on her now and we are pulling in now. We've been told we are docking an hour late at 9 rather than 8. It's a gorgeous sunny but hot day. Our reef magic tour check in 845 for a 9 am departure as most are. They notified us last night after speaking with the ship agent we would n I t arrive in time so they will refund our money. Happy about that but so sad to miss our dive.

Some tours leave at 930 and 10, so we now plan to wing it. Be off the ship first and see if there is some room on another tour.

To come all the way here from Miami and not be able to get to the gbr would be a shame.
