Passion Island reviews??

Has anyone been to passion island in Cozumel?

Was thinking of booking through a 3rd party for $40 but it doesn't include taxi to the port which I told was $20.

 

Also I read that food and alcoholic beverages are included. How is the food there?

 

Its my first time going to Cozumel and I just at lost on what to do. I was thinking of renting a Jeep and touring the island ourselves

 

Any thoughts or suggestions for first timers?

I have taken the Twister Boat ride to Passion Island twice. The boat ride is a blast and the island is beautiful and fun. The food was good too! Personally, I don't think I'd go without the Twister Boat ride since it was so much fun and there are so many other beach options in Cozumel that don't require a ferry or boat ride.

We took the Tour Catamaran to Passion Island and had an excellent time! :)

It's a beautiful island, but I would never want to go there again by using a cruise ship excursion. There just wasn't enough time there and not worth it. I think you have the perfect thought if you are going to do it privately! I have tons of pictures in my review in my signature line as someone pointed out. :)
