caribnsnrklr Posted February 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Hello, was hoping someone could tell me how it works on back to back cruise with room change. What do we do with our luggage? Am hoping not to lug it around. Thanks
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Your cabin will help you to move it to your new cabin. Be sure he/she knows ahead of time so he can coordinate with the steward for the new cabin. EM
TrinaLC Posted February 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2015 The cabin attendants will move it for you. I believe they will allow you to move hanging clothes directly rather than re packing Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
caribnsnrklr Posted February 23, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Thank you for the replies. I am glad that they do that. I would hate to drag it around until room is ready.
Rena921 Posted February 23, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Your cabin stewards will move it for you. You can keep your clothes on the hangars. We just packed up our toiletries, trinkets and folded items. They had the new room ready for us first thing in the am, so we basically just got out of bed and headed over. This time we don't have to change rooms and I am looking forward to it!
jmcancruise Posted February 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2015 One suggestion. Print off your luggage tags for the second week and put on your bags. Just think it could help incase they get misplaced in the shuffle.

CTMills Posted February 23, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I've wondered this too about B2B cruises. This is a silly question, but I was also curious if they make you get off the ship and go through the check-in process at the port again?

They will have all of the B2B'ers meet in a designated area at a certain time - usually in the Atrium. In most cases, they will escort you off the ship through customs and take you right back on (I have heard that sometimes they process you on the ship). The entire process for us took about 15 minutes. We were back on the ship by 10:30 and having lunch before anyone else boarded. We had the ship to ourselves for about an hour. It was awesome!
