Extra OBC Question

My DW and I have more OBC then ever have. All of the credit is nonrefundable so it must be spend. We will do our usual drinks, bingo, etc, but I need to know how we can use this money in the casino? I play table games and was wondering if I could buy in to my table games ($100-$200), play awhile (let's hope), and then cash out. How does this work? I know there is a 3% charge for using your S&S card, but anything else we should know?

Cash it out in the slot machines. No 3% fee. ;)

Pull it out thru the slot machine. Just set up your players account on the slot, charge any amount to the S&S play a game on the slot and then cash out to your players account. Take the card (S&S) to the cashier cage and get the cash. For now this works. I hope it continues. There is no charge for doing this but I think there is an amount limit each time .

So with the slots, do I need to input an amount that I want to play? I know that it has asked that before. If it does I guess I just put the amount we have in onboard credit?

Thanks for the help!

Yes it will ask how much you want to put in the account. The maximum at a time is $300. I had to do this do this 2 times for $300 and then another time for less to get all my OBC on my last cruise. I just waited a few hours between each addition. Then I went to the cashier and cashed out. If you want to play table games then you could use this money after cashing out with the cashier.

Yes.You just set up a players account at the slot machine with your S&S card, create a PIN number and deposit what ever amount from your S&S to your players account. You can then cash it out to your S&S card and take it to to the cashier to withdrawal the funds from your players account. This also works good for getting cash instead of incurring ATM fees.

On our recent B2B on Conquest, I did not cash out through the casino like I did last year. I went to GS the last night of the cruise (Platinum so shorter line), requested my statement, and requested the balance due. No problem.

Last year I did it through the slot machine.

We don't play table games so did not need the cash for that. We brought it home with us.

Your remaining OBC must have been all refundable. Some OBC isn't, but they are nice and apply charges to the nonrefundable OBC first.

When we've had extra OBC, i've gone to a Guest Services and asked them to give me as much in cash as they could. The remaining OBC is nonrefundable and will be forfeited unless you spend it or get it through the casino technique.

We had a lot of OBC on both of our B2B cruises (450 on one & 540 on the other one). A little of it was nonrefundable and since they use up the nonrefundable OBC first, we were able to get it back. If not, I was going to do it through a slot machine.

My stockholder OBC is my "drink" money and since I didn't have any drinks other than the wine I brought with me, I was able to pocket that money. I did enjoy my free Chocolate Mocha Get-a-way each cruise. I also ordered CMG at the Gold/plat/diamond party. I lost 33 lbs. before the cruise so didn't want to drink too many of those "glorified, alcoholic milk shakes" and put the weight back on!!!
