Puerta Maya to Margaritaville question

I was wondering how far it is from the port to Margaritaville.. can you walk, is it safe to walk or do you need a cab??

from Puerta Maya it's about 2.5 - 3 miles each way. Perfectly safe, paved walkway most of the way but probably too hot and too far to walk both ways during cruise ship hours. Really depends on how keen you are on walking!

$10 or less for a taxi (the fares will be posted near the cab line) - I would not walk, especially after a few margaritas! :o
