sharonny Posted March 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2015 Jacksonville Port. I know Carnival says "at some ports luggage can be carried on", instead of checking it with the porters. Is Jacksonville one such port that we could just carry on our bag if we choose?
JohninDC Posted March 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2015 As long as it is sized to fit through the security screening devices. You'll be lugging your bags around until they open up staterooms - usually about 1:30 or so.
DaveOKC Posted March 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) As long as it is sized to fit through the security screening devices. Nice to have your stuff and unpack right away instead of endless waiting for your luggage. On our last cruise we gave the carryon sized bags to the porter out front and it took so lone to get them in our cabin I was afraid they had gotten lost! On Holland, our cabins are available as soon as we board - generally 11:30 am. DaveOKC Edited March 7, 2015 by DaveOKC
