Ketchikan May 4, 2015

I've done both early season (May) and late season (Sep) Alaska cruises, and pretty much all major attractions open for the season around the cruise ship schedule (outdoor activities are more weather-dependent, but a museum would only close for truly inclement weather).

Will be on the Coral Princess when we visit Ketchikan May 4, early in the season. Will all the touristy places be open? Particularly Dolly's Museum.

Dolly's should be open, but I wouldn't worry too much if you miss it. It is really just a small old house.

Just before you go contact Dolly's directly or the visitor center and inquire. EVERYTHING is open mid May, It's a whole different story begining of May. I've experiences boarded up areas not open. Won't know until closer to date, if the business is seasonal.

Anyone going in Dolly's, it's a gem of recent history. :) And very worthwhile, if interested.

Take note of the shower curtain. :)
