VAT at Barcelona terminal ?

Is it possible to get your receipts stamped at the Barcelona terminal by customs? Does Disney do it on ship? I am not flying,but doing the TA Sept .19.

When we did the Med cruises, the only place that did the receipt correctly was DCL. We had done some shopping with one significant purchase at a place that claimed to have given us all the correct documents to get the VAT refund, but when we got to the airport their documents were rejected.

 

DCL had us return on the second to last day and they re-issued a receipt for all qualifying purchases (and they knew what qualified), so it was all on one receipt for the people at the airport.

 

To answer your question, we were not able to get anything accomplished at the terminal. Per DCL instructions, it was all handled at the airport.

 

I get that you are not flying, so not sure what (if anything) would apply in your situation.
