You would probably get better help if you post this on the Spain Ports of Call Board http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=596

It would also be helpful to list which actual islands you are visiting.

You can also search for the specific port on the Spain Board or on Trip Advisor which often has even better advice for how to get from the ports to a beach as there are usually locals posting on there

Which ports are you doing?

Lanzarote is our favourite for doing the beach, the resort of Costa Teguise is just a few stops on the local bus, caught on the main road outside the port, or you can get a taxi but sometimes the ones at the ship are reluctant to take you such a short distance.

In Gran Canaria the town beach is a five to 10 minute walk through the shops.

In Tenerife we usually go around the town as its a big city with lots of shops, I've heard others say that they have taken a taxi to the beach, not sure how far.

As already suggested you will probably get more detail on the Ports of Call board or even on your roll call.

Google Playa de Las Teresitas. This is the nearest nicest beach to Santa Cruz port for Tenerife.

Lanzarote the resorts of Costa Teguise or Puerto Del Carmen are very easily reachable for a choice of beaches.
