ships time vs island time

does anyone have any experience with the Conquests arrival time in St. Maarten? Atlantic or Eastern in December? I have booked a tour with Captain Bob and he said be at his dock at 9:30 island time. Conquest's itinerary says they will dock at 9am. Even IF our ship is on island time, I'm concerned that we will be cutting it too close to get off the ship and walk to his dock in time. I also posted this in the St. Maarten boards, hoping my fellow cruisers can help. thanks in advance for our help.

It will be Eastern. The. Conquest does not change time from Miami departure.
