Hi there

 

We need to find a reasonably priced hotel for the night of the 17th July for four people. We would like something that is not too far to walk to attractions, eg Tivoli Gardens.

We're staying at the First Hotel Vesterbro. I booked it on www.hotelsdenmark.com

 

We're paying US$184. per night and that includes all taxes and a full breakfast.

 

Friends of ours are staying at the Mermaid Hotel which I think might be a little less.

They have the capability for 3-4 in a room (a rarity) and is about two blocks from the train station and Tivoli. We're staying wiht three adults in one room for 1125DKK and that includes full breakfast.

You might try the website copenhagen-hotels.se. They have all kinds of room prices and the price includes all kinds of extras like museum fees, bus and rail fees. See what you think. The Ibis hotels are basic and centrally located.

The Marriott Copenhagen (5*, according to brochure) is 1095 DeK /night for double room on weekend rate.

We are staying there that night.

We're planning to stay at DGI Byens Hotel. Its inside pool facility and modern design sold us.

We stayed at the Kong Arthur...4 stars but reasonably priced...starting at under 200 euros...

And yes, they have "quads"...we stayed in one--contact the hotel and ask...

 

We enjoyed it...it was a reasonable and pleasant walk to the Stroget and to Tivoli...and very near the Rosenborg Palace...

located in a very nice, quiet residential area yet near all of the "attractions"...
