kc58ab Posted March 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2015 I've seen postings that excursion prices are cheaper on boat. But I don't want kids to miss out waiting if they limit number ppl for few bucks.

jacksmycat Posted March 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2015 I have never heard that and, in my experience, the excursions that I went on were never cheaper on the ship. They have been sold out though.

I'd book online if I had my heart set on doing a certain excursion because excursions sometimes sell out.
scuabacruiser Posted March 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Sort of true. Our last cruise, when we paid our final balance, I was given the opportunity to book a couple of selected excursions at a reduced price. However, it was nothing we were interested in. We normally book outside of the ship anyway.

scuabacruiser Posted March 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Thanks for replies. Think will go ahead online 😀 If it's something you really want to do, that's a good plan. I think you can get credit if you change your mind. Just one less thing you have to do, or worry about, once you board.
Aplmac Posted March 20, 2015 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Order online and know you have it nailed well ahead of time! ;) I've done it 2 or 3 times now, paid ahead by credit card got issued a booking confirmation thing (print that out and walk/cruise with it -it's your receipt and booking number). There are odd times when ship's tours are very convenient!! .
